'Peacock' Pearl and Silver Necklace
Irregular natural baroque pearls, dyed, producing this fabulous array of petrol tones. Which just enhances their beauty.
I drill all my baroque pearls by hand. Quite the challenge. It means I can position them the way that I want.
Lengths of square wire create the striking chain I have made between the pearls, flowing into discreet oval belcher chain that sits comfortably around the nape of the neck.
Finished with a lobster catch.
The centre show piece silver baroque pearl has a patterned handmade bail to set it off.
Smaller pearls are approx 10mm diameter, although irregular shapes.
Large Baroque pearl 17 x 15 x 9mm
20" long
Pearls should be worn often to keep them looking their best.
No harsh cleaners should ever be used on pearls, as it will damage their lustre.
Silver also does not require harsh cleaners.
Due to the combination of pearls and silver in this necklace, this silver is not suitable for the boiling water/bicarb method that I often recommend for silver.
A silver cloth is the best thing.
Or return to me, and I will give it a full clean. You are my best advert so I like my jewellery to looks its best!
