I am delighted to be returning to the fabulous Niki Bells gorgeous Art Studio, bringing you a workshop and short course.
Both are suitable for beginners.
A Perfect Christmas present!
In the one day workshop, I will guide you through making a pair of earrings, based on my designs. You will practice on copper, then create your earrings from silver. Wire or studs, whichever is your preference.
You will learn basic jewellery techniques, such as annealing, piercing, filing & papering (lots of this), soldering, oxidising, hammering, basic finishing.
Leaving with a completed pair of beautifully finished earrings.
Metals included in the course price.
Bring your own lunch. Lovely cakes and refreshments provided!
Saturday 29th March 2025 10am-4pm
The 5 week short course is for you to decide what you would like to make.
Within reason of course!
We will spend the first session talking through and looking at designs. You will sketch out what you would like to create, and learn/ practice some basic techniques on copper.
Such as hammering, piecing, annealing, soldering
From the second week on wards you will be working on your piece.
I will purchase silver for you once you have decided what you want to make and bring along to the second week.
Metals are an additional cost to the course. Please be aware of this.
